The concept for Yukon River Knives was born a few years ago, as Ron Stepp (founder of Yukon River Knives) and  knife maker Owen Baker were driving back from the Dallas Safari Club Convention. Their thoughts were two-fold:

• To bring to market a knife that embodies all the design elements and premium materials found in a full-blown custom knife, at an affordable price. 

• To help fund their greater passion, sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with people in remote parts of Alaska. (read more on the Ministry Page)

Owen Baker Jr. has designed and built custom knives for over 30 years. His knives are in many collections and hunting packs all across the globe. Owen and Ron have partnered with White River Knives, of Freemont, MI, to put some of Owen's knives into production. 

 

White River Knife and Tool is a family operation with a passion for making premium, American made knives. They use the finest USA sourced materials and each knife is warrantied

for life.
